Megan N. Root is a Vero Beach native and a 2009 graduate of Vero Beach High School. She attended the University of South Carolina for her undergraduate studies and in 2016, received her Juris Doctor and Certificate in Public Interest Law from The University of Alabama School of Law. During her attendance, she received multiple accolades for her service to the community, including the honor of Order of the Samaritan.

Ms. Root is an active member of Sunrise Rotary Vero Beach as their current Vice President, a longtime board member, and co-chair of the International Committee. Ms. Root is also a board member for the Vero Beach Chamber of Commerce and is an active member of the Indian River County Bar Association. Ms. Root’s practice focuses primarily on civil litigation in Vero Beach, Florida.
