Douglas Vitunac grew up in Vero Beach, Florida, and graduated from Vero Beach High School in 1998.

Mr. Vitunac attended college at the University of Florida, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, and went on to law school at Florida Coastal School of Law, in Jacksonville, Florida, where he received his juris doctorate in 2006.  He has been practicing law in Vero Beach, Florida since 2006 at the law firm of Collins Brown Barkett, Chtd., and is a partner of the firm, focusing his practice on Real Estate, Condo and Homeowners Association law, and civil litigation.

Mr. Vitunac is involved in various service organizations is the past chair and treasurer of the young lawyers’ division of the Indian River County Bar Association, past president of the Treasure Coast Gator Club, current president of the Kiwanis Club of Vero-Treasure Coast, and the current treasurer of Indian River County Habitat for Humanity.  Mr. Vitunac enjoys fishing, surfing, the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
