Mr. Caldwell, AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory, has been engaged in a general commercial practice in Indian River County for 23 years and in Broward County for 13 years prior to that. His practice includes all matters of real estate development, acquisition, and financing, including representation of developers, commercial banks and mortgage bankers. He is also one of the founders of and was attorney for Indian River Federal Savings Bank. He has represented clients in administrative law matters before various public bodies, with emphasis on land use and development. He represents corporate and other business entity clients in matters including business acquisition, consolidation and mergers, and construction industry matters.

Mr. Caldwell is a panel member of the American Arbitration Association and is a member of The Florida Bar; The Indian River County Bar Association; and The American Bar Association. He is Past Director of United Way of Indian River County, Director of the Florida Chamber of Commerce, and Director of the VNA Hospice Foundation of Indian River County, Florida. Mr. Caldwell is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
