Mr. Bruce was raised outside of Dallas, Texas. During law school Mr. Bruce was inducted into the National Order of Barristers
– the honor society recognizing excellence in advocacy. He was the Chair of the Board of Advocates which coordinated all on- and off-campus advocacy opportunities for the law school. During his third year he worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Dallas and Collin County, where he gained valuable experience acting as the lead attorney in multiple jury trials prosecuting misdemeanors.
After law school, Mr. Bruce relocated to Savannah, Georgia. There he practiced civil and criminal litigation for several years with local firms while also becoming active in his community, with leadership positions in the Savannah Bar Association Young Lawyers Division
, the Savannah Jaycees
, and the Savannah Young Professionals Society.
In September 2012, Mr. Bruce was admitted to the Florida Bar and began practicing law with Collins Brown Caldwell Barkett Garavaglia & Lawn, Chartered. In addition, he is admitted to all Georgia state trial and appellate courts and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Georgia and the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Mr. Bruce’s practice focuses on probate and trust administration, litigation, and planning; healthcare law and litigation; and general corporate matters.
